CA Foundation
About the Course
CA Foundation is the entry-level examination for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course, conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It serves as the first step for students aspiring to become Chartered Accountants.
Subjects of Study
The CA Foundation syllabus comprises four papers:
- Paper 1: Principles and Practice of Accounting
- Paper 2: Business Laws and Business Correspondence & Reporting
- Paper 3: Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning & Statistics
- Paper 4: Business Economics & Business and Commercial Knowledge
Eligibility
- Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from any recognized board (any stream/group).
- Students can register provisionally after appearing for Class 12 exams.
Registration Fees
₹9,000 (Payable directly to ICAI)
Cutoff Date for Registration
Four months prior to month of foundation examinations to be held in the month of January, May, September
Coaching Duration
- 4 months of structured coaching
- Includes regular classes, doubt-clearing sessions, mock tests, and full syllabus coverage.
